Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes
- Assist in food production processes, including chopping, portioning, and cooking ingredients according to established recipes
- Execute food preparation tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Support butchery tasks by breaking down meats and preparing cuts as required for menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe kitchen environment
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, handling, and labeling of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food production or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Experience with butchery and handling various meats
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for sanitation
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
