Accounts & Audit Senior | Abingdon | £DOE
Clark Wood are currently working with an established accountancy firm who are looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing audit team in Abingdon.
The Role
You will lead audit assignments for a range of limited companies, with responsibilities including:
- Planning, preparing and completing statutory audits in accordance with ISAs
- Attending client premises and liaising directly with clients
- Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
- Drafting corporation tax computations and analysing tax-sensitive items
- Ensuring financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards
- Supporting and mentoring trainees
- Identifying and resolving technical audit and accounting issues
- Keeping up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards
About You
- ACA / ACCA Qualified or equivalent (training or QBE candidates also considered DOE)
- Strong audit and accounts experience within practice
- Good understanding of accounting standards and ISAs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office
- SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks or CCH Audit Automation experience would be advantageous
