We are looking for compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our homecare team. You will support clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and comfort. No two days are the same — you will make a real difference in someone’s life. We are also able to support Skilled Worker visa applications for suitable overseas candidates.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including washing, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support with continence care and toileting.
- Assist with safe mobility and repositioning (including equipment such as hoists, slide sheets, bedrails).
- Prepare meals, snacks, and drinks.
- Encourage hydration and monitor general wellbeing.
- Prompt or assist with medication in line with the MAR chart.
- Complete accurate care notes after each visit.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the client.
- Report any concerns or changes in condition to the office.
Requirements
- Kind, patient, and compassionate.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
- Experience in homecare or healthcare.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care.
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Schedule
- Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts available.
- Live-in hours also available.
Work Location
- Leeds.
- In the community / client’s home.
