We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications and quality standards
- Assist in the organisation of the section to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Oversee the preparation of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation and ordering when necessary
- Follow all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Support junior kitchen staff through training and guidance as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, along with serving experience in a hospitality environment
- Passionate about delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining consistency in presentation and flavour
