Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
- Safely operate vnas and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods to clients and customers.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines.
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
- Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies throughout all deliveries.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed or commercial vehicles.
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating lorries or large vehicles.
- Experience in commercial driving with a good understanding of road safety regulations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctual deliveries.
- Ability to lift and move goods safely, complying with health and safety standards.
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
- A clean driving record with no recent endorsements or penalties related to road safety or driving conduct.

Pay: £101.68-£140.00 per day
