Role overview
As a Motor Claims Engineering Team Leader, you'll inspire and develop a team of skilled Motor Claims Engineering specialists. With customer outcomes at the heart of every decision, you'll provide coaching and development, use performance data to drive improvements, and support your team in delivering fair, commercially sound decisions while meeting regulatory and business objectives.
Job details – you’ll need to have demonstrable experience in:

Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Motor Claims Engineering colleagues, driving engagement and capability.

Foster a customer-centric culture where fair, commercially sound decisions deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Use performance data and insights to identify opportunities, monitor objectives, and drive continuous improvement.

Deliver tailored coaching and development plans that build technical expertise, accountability and continuous learning.

Lead and support colleagues through change, promoting a positive mindset and alignment with business goals and culture.

Build strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring regulatory, risk and governance requirements are consistently met.
Essential skills/experience:

Proven experience in people leadership, with a strong understanding of delivering a market-leading customer experience and creating a customer-focused culture within a team.

Experienced in stakeholder management and coaching, with the ability to build effective relationships and develop high-performing teams.

Proven experience in driving results and meeting or exceeding targets while keeping the customer at the heart of every decision.

Experienced in communicating effectively, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous self-development and supporting the growth of others.
