We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to take responsibility for an established supported living home in Wolverhampton.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social care professional to lead a high-quality, person-centred service and support the continued development of the home. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for one supported living home, with the potential to progress into a broader Area Manager role as the organisation grows and additional homes are opened across Wolverhampton.
The role would suit an ambitious and motivated manager who is passionate about delivering excellent care and support and who is looking for the opportunity to grow with the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the supported living home, ensuring high-quality care and support is consistently delivered.
- Promote individuals’ recovery, independence, and skill development, while maintaining exceptional standards of care.
- Support the continued development and improvement of the service in line with the company’s vision, values, and objectives.
- Ensure person-centred care and support, promoting dignity, choice, independence, and positive outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, CQC standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Oversee staff recruitment, induction, training, supervision, and ongoing development.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring effective staffing and support arrangements.
- Ensure effective communication, administration, record keeping, and compliance across the service.
- Monitor quality assurance and service performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions.
- Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and health and safety within the service.
- Monitor financial management, ensuring expenditure remains within agreed budgets and financial procedures are followed.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, professionals, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality support.
- As the organisation expands, support the development of additional supported living homes across Wolverhampton, with the potential to progress into an Area Manager position overseeing multiple services.

Candidate Requirements:
- Valid UK Driving Licence – essential
- Proven experience in team management – essential
- Experience working within Supported Living services – essential
- NVQ Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent
- Candidates working towards Level 5 in Adult Social Care will also be considered
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and support
- Good knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, compliance, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to recruit, motivate, develop, and lead a team effectively
- A proactive and results-driven approach, with a genuine passion for delivering high-quality care and support
- Ambition and willingness to support the organisation’s future growth and development
