Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Builder to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Execute carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry, and finish carpentry with attention to detail and quality.
- Assist with roofing installation, repairs, and maintenance to ensure durable and weatherproof structures.
- Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve smooth, professional finishes.
- Install and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct masonry work such as laying bricks, blocks, or stone for walls and foundations.
- Operate welding equipment for metal fabrication and structural reinforcement projects.
- Apply electrical experience for basic wiring tasks or assist licensed electricians on complex installations.
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various building activities while maintaining safety protocols.
- Support fabrication tasks by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials as required for different phases of construction projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding or related trades preferred.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and electrical systems is advantageous.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, and screwdrivers.
- Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, grinders, and sanders.
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
