Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen and Bar Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing excellent service to our guests. The position involves preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Applicants must be organised, personable, and capable of working efficiently under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items and beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Serve customers promptly and courteously at the bar and dining area
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Take orders accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card transactions
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Ensure the bar area is stocked with necessary ingredients and tools throughout service hours
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, ensuring a tidy environment at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and drinks
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during shifts
- Friendly, personable demeanour with a professional attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
