We are looking for an experienced, reliable chef to join our busy multi-brand kitchen in Barnsley.
This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have at least 4–5 years of provable experience working in a busy professional kitchen and be confident working under pressure across a varied menu.
We currently operate seven food brands, including Evoo, Mexigo and others, so we are looking for someone with a broad range of practical kitchen skills who can adapt quickly between different styles of food and service.
Essential Skills
Applicants must be able to:
- Hand-stretch pizza dough confidently and consistently
- Work competently on a chargrill
- Handle frying pan and sauté work during busy services
- Work quickly while maintaining good presentation and portion control
- Follow recipes, specifications and food safety procedures
- Work across several different menus and brands
Hand-stretching pizza is an essential requirement for this role.
Hours
Initially approximately 25–30 hours per week, with the possibility of becoming a full-time position for the right candidate.
You must be available to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Weekend availability is not negotiable.
The role will also involve split shifts, so living in or close to Barnsley would be a significant advantage.

Pay
Pay will be discussed based on experience and suitability for the role.
Wages are paid weekly every Monday.
For the right person, this could develop into a permanent, full-time role with increased responsibility across our seven brands.
