Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our nursery. You will be responsible for assisting with the daily care, education, and development of the children under your supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Experience working with children and implementing age-appropriate activities
- Drive the learning and development of each child in your care
- Manage daily routines and ensure the well-being of all children
- Provide a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes learning through play
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to plan and implement educational programs
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children at all times
Qualifications:
- Early childhood education or childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication)
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of EYFS, child development principles and best practices
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team of nursery staff
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
