About the Role
The Supply Pool is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in Stoke-on-Trent, including primary, secondary, mainstream, and specialist SEN settings. Whether you are an experienced TA or a passionate graduate looking to take your first step into education, we want to hear from you.
We place TAs in roles that match their skills and interests — from general classroom support to 1:1 SEND and SEMH work — giving you variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to grow professionally.
The Schools
Our partner schools include:
- Primary and secondary mainstream schools requiring day-to-day classroom support
- SEN schools supporting pupils with a wide range of needs including autism, learning difficulties, and complex communication needs
- SEMH and specialist settings supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, including attachment difficulties and trauma backgrounds

What you need
✅ Experience working with children or young people in a school, care, youth work, or similar setting
✅ Ability to adapt your approach to suit different learners and environments
✅ Confidence supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND and challenging behaviour
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✅ A patient, empathetic, and solution-focused approach
✅ Current DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
✅ Proof of right to work in the UK
