MINIBUS DRIVER – BSFC ACADEMY
Bishop’s Stortford FC Academy is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Minibus Driver to join our Academy team for the 2026/27 academic year.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of BSFC Academy and support young people across our football and education programme.
Role details
Location: Bishop’s Stortford and surrounding areas
Hours: Minimum of 6 hours per week, school term time only.
Working pattern: Part-time, primarily morning and/or afternoon journeys
Pay: £10 per hour
Contract: Casual/part-time during designated Academy weeks
Main responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from BSFC Academy.
- Complete designated morning and afternoon routes.
- Ensure students enter and leave the vehicle safely.
- Maintain a professional, friendly and punctual service.
- Complete basic vehicle safety checks before each journey.
- Report any vehicle, safeguarding or behavioural concerns promptly.
- Follow all BSFC Academy safeguarding, health and safety and transport procedures.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Friendly and comfortable working with young people aged 16–19.
- Calm, responsible and safety conscious.
- Able to commit to regular journeys throughout the academic year.
- Passionate about becoming part of the BSFC Academy community.
Essential requirements
- A valid driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive the Academy minibus.
- A safe and responsible driving record.
- Availability for early-morning and afternoon journeys.
- Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and relevant safeguarding checks.
- The right to work in the UK.
Previous experience of driving a minibus or working within education, sport or youth provision would be beneficial but is not essential.
