About Collectors Card Cave
Collectors Card Cave is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Shop Assistant to join our team.
We’re passionate about Pokémon, Trading Card Games (TCGs), collectibles, and creating a welcoming environment for collectors, players, and newcomers alike. We’re looking for someone who shares that enthusiasm and is excited to develop their knowledge and skills within the role.
The Role
As a Shop Assistant, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the store, helping customers find the products they’re looking for and providing a friendly, knowledgeable service.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming and assisting customers in-store
- Helping customers with Pokémon, TCGs, and other collectible products
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming shop environment
- Stocking shelves and organising new deliveries
- Assisting with product displays and merchandising
- Handling sales and operating the till
- Supporting stock checks and inventory management
- Keeping up to date with new Pokémon and TCG releases
- Helping create a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers
- Supporting events, tournaments, and other store activities when required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic and passionate about Pokémon and TCG collectibles
- Friendly, approachable, and confident when speaking with customers
- Interested in learning and expanding their knowledge
- Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy retail environment
- Willing to learn about new products, sets, cards, and collectibles
- Ideally experienced in retail, TCGs, collectibles, or customer service — although this is not essential
Previous knowledge or experience with Pokémon and other TCGs is preferred, but a willingness to learn and grow within the role is just as important. Whether you’re already a knowledgeable collector or someone with a genuine passion who wants to turn that interest into a career, we’d love to hear from you.
