Summary
CCR Forming Ltd is seeking an experienced sheet Metal Worker to join our team in the UK to aid us with an exciting new project for the GE90 Jet Engine. As a Metal Worker, you will contribute to our mission of delivering top-quality precision components for aerospace and commercial applications, ensuring excellence in every project.
The role will involve machine setting, cutting, hand manipulating and finishing to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and finish metal components using various tools and techniques.
- Operate cutting / grinding and sheet metal machinery with precision.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards diligently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Maintain equipment and ensure workspace cleanliness.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication, preferably in an Aerospace environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal work.
- Proficiency with hand tools and tooling.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
