Property Manager – Residential Lettings
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Property Manager to join our busy Residential Lettings team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential properties, providing an excellent service to landlords and tenants and ensuring properties are managed efficiently and in accordance with current legislation.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working independently, is highly organised and confident dealing with people, contractors and the occasional challenge that comes with property management!
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties from tenancy commencement through to end of tenancy
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants
- Deal with maintenance issues and coordinate contractors from initial report through to completion
- Arrange and monitor property inspections
- Manage rent reviews and notices
- Ensure properties meet all relevant legal and safety requirements
- Liaise with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers on a daily basis
- Deal with deposits, check-outs and end-of-tenancy matters
- Keep accurate records and ensure all compliance documentation is up to date
- Resolve problems quickly and professionally, providing excellent customer service
- Work closely with colleagues and other Property Managers within the wider lettings team
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Ideally has previous experience in residential property management
- Has a good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- Is highly organised and able to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is confident dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors
- Is proactive, practical and a good problem solver
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Can work independently while also being a strong team player
- Is comfortable using property management software and other IT systems
- Remains calm and professional when dealing with difficult or unexpected situations
ARLA/Propertymark qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.

Pay: £25,420.00-£30,000.00 per year
