We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Quality Technician to support both internal and external quality standards across our manufacturing processes, parts, and products. Acting as the link between customer requirements and internal operations, you will help ensure we deliver right-first-time products, minimise waste caused by defects, and continuously improve quality performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Represent the voice of the customer and ensure quality expectations are consistently achieved.
- Build strong, professional relationships with customers through clear and transparent communication.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, including ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9102.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality processes, procedures, and controls.
- Create and maintain quality documentation, control plans, and inspection records.
- Investigate repeat issues using structured problem-solving tools such as 5 Why and Ishikawa.
- Analyse quality and performance data to identify trends and drive improvements.
- Complete ISIR, PPAP/PPEP, and customer approval documentation.
- Carry out inspections and dimensional verification using engineering drawings and measurement equipment.
- Use or support inspection systems such as CMM, Hex Arm, and Faro Arm.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
We are looking for:
- ISO9001 trained.
- AS9100 / AS9102 awareness or training (desirable)
- Understanding of international quality standards and customer-specific requirements. Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing, engineering, or process-driven quality role.
- Exposure to PPAP processes.
- Experience using CMM, Hex Arm, or Faro Arm inspection equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings to a high level.
- Strong problem-solving skills using recognised quality tools.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Hours
Monday - Thursday 7AM - 15:30PM & Friday 7AM - 14:30PM (39 hr)
Salary - Starting at £30,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
Pay: £35,000.00 per year
