We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised and commercially minded Events & Sales Manager to join our fantastic team. This is a varied, fast-paced role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact while working alongside a supportive and experienced group of colleagues who genuinely enjoy what they do.
What you'll be doing
As our Events & Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business while ensuring every event is planned and delivered to the highest standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing enquiries for weddings, conferences, private functions and special events.
- Conducting hotel show rounds and building strong relationships with prospective clients.
- Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings through excellent sales techniques.
- Planning and coordinating events from initial enquiry through to handing over to the operations team for delivery.
- Working closely with the Operations, Kitchen, Reservations and Spa teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Developing new business opportunities within the local corporate and leisure markets.
- Building relationships with local businesses, organisations and event organisers.
- Maximising revenue through effective upselling of accommodation, food & beverage, spa experiences and event packages.
- Achieving sales targets and contributing to the hotel's commercial success.
- Representing the hotel at networking events, exhibitions and wedding fairs.
- Ensuring all event administration and client communication is completed accurately and professionally.
- Maintaining exceptional customer service before, during and after every event.

- Has previous experience in hotel sales, events or hospitality.

- Has outstanding communication and organisational skills.

- Builds strong relationships with guests, colleagues and suppliers.
