Job description
The role is for a violin + viola tutor in an exciting education centre in Bromley.
We are looking for a violin + viola tutor/teacher for our centre to teach children and adults in a 1-2-1 capacity.
The lessons are a mixture of 15, 30 and 45 minutes in length.
The role
- You will need to be proficient in violin + viola
- You will need to agree to a DBS check (to make sure everything is in order)
- You will be working a regular weekly schedule mostly within this time period - normally times within the period of 9:00 to 4:30 - on Sundays.
- You will be responsible for delivering violin / viola tuition and writing brief reports after each session.
- Ideally, you will be familiar and experienced with the ABRSM strings curriculum.

BONUS SCHEME
At Bromley Conservatoire, we offer a 20% bonus scheme. The base rate of pay is £22 per hour but if you are able to commit to every teaching day in a term, you will receive a lump sum payment at the end of the term of an additional 20% on top of all pay received that term. For example, if you earned £400 in the term from September - December, at the end of the term, in December, you would receive a lump sum payment of £80. This brings your pay effectively to £26.40 per hour.
