NOTE: This is a casual role but we do anticipate there to be 8 hours of work between Saturday & Sunday so it's important that you are flexible on the weekends. There may be other opportunities to work throughout the week depending on demand. This role will be suitable for someone in school or college.
Zenchai is a pioneering, Gen-Z–inspired soufflé pancake brand where everything is made fresh in-store. We proudly use Grade AA tea across our range and are deeply rooted in community and connection.
We are looking for a fun, out-going and hard-working cafe assistant to join our team in Fleet, Hampshire. We don't care about experience as full training is provided but we are looking for someone who's pro-active, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, due to the location, you'll also live within a 30 min walk of the store.
Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare soufflé pancakes, bubble tea and coffee to established recipes and specifications
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service, taking orders and making product recommendations
- Work alongside our marketing team to produce and film social media content — you must be comfortable in front of the camera to be considered for this role
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues
- Support with general stock management and inventory
- Keep your work area clean, tidy and well-maintained
You must be legally able to work in the UK and be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
