Our Group Finance Team is a core, central function supporting the business end‑to‑end. Working across all divisions, the team manages a wide range of responsibilities including financial reporting, commercial finance, planning and analysis, accounts, payroll and credit control. By providing accurate insight, strong financial governance and trusted support, the Finance Team plays a key role in enabling informed decision‑making and supporting the continued growth of the Group.
What will you be doing?
As a Management Accountant for our Infrastructure division, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust financial control and meaningful commercial insight. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, you will have genuine ownership of your area, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to support a growing and evolving business.
You will:
- Take full responsibility for the divisional profit and loss account, balance sheet and cash flow reporting
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines
- Review and analyse revenues and costs, providing detailed commentary and variance analysis
- Prepare and post month-end journals including accruals, prepayments and consolidated invoice journals
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure strong financial controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities for internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve finance processes and systems
- Assist with the annual audit process
- Attend monthly meetings with the executive team and budget owners to review financial performance
- Support the integration of accounting processes across the wider Group
- Deliver ad hoc financial reporting, analysis and regulatory reporting as required
As part of our team, you will get:
- A salary from £50,000 t0 £55,000, depending on experience and qualification level

To join our team, you will need:
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified, qualified by experience (QBE), or actively studying towards a professional accounting qualification
- Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence presenting financial information in a clear and concise manner
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous
