To responsible for the management and co-ordination of the Trust’s painting and decorating service, in order to respond to all planned and reactive decorating jobs across all Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust premises. This will be a working team leader role, whilst providing supervision and technical expertise to relevant stakeholders including estates colleagues and clinical teams
The role will involve scheduling the team’s work plans to deliver the Trust’s decorating programme, as well as responding to reactive jobs prioritised through the estates helpdesk. The postholder will be responsible for the line management of the painting and decorating team, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard within healthcare environments. The role combines hands‑on painting and decorating alongside the team with staff supervision, work planning and quality assurance.

To supervise the painting and decorating team in line with Trust Policies.
To schedule a workplan for each team (North and South) each week which is communicated clearly to every team member.
To carry out 1-2-1s with all direct reports in line with Trust Policies and Procedures.
To carry out a yearly My Yearly Conversation with direct reports.
To oversee the CEST and My Yearly Conversation (MYC) compliance for the team to maintain 100% compliance.
To mentor and develop any apprentices, T-level or work experience students in the team.
