As a CPD Accreditation Consultant at The CPD Group, you'll be the named, dedicated point of contact for a portfolio of around 600 clients and prospects — guiding training providers through their CPD accreditation journey from first enquiry right through to renewal.
The organisations who contact us have already found us through our website, marketing, or events. They're motivated, informed, and looking for expert guidance. Your job is to provide exactly that — with warmth, knowledge, and genuine care for the people you work with.
You'll join a team of four Consultants, each owning their client relationships end-to-end and each playing an equal part in delivering the high standards The CPD Group is known for.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling inbound enquiries from prospective clients across phone, email, live chat, and social media — and responding the same working day, every time
- Guiding newly approved CPD Providers through their accreditation options and helping them find the right plan for their organisation
- Managing a structured pipeline of prospects through a 6-month conversion journey
- Acting as a long-term relationship manager for contracted clients — from their first accredited course through to renewal
- Conducting mid-contract check-ins, annual reviews, and proactive renewal conversations
- Working to key performance targets including a 40% conversion rate and 70% client retention rate
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience in a customer service, client-facing, or account management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A confident, professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied, active workload
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Proficiency with standard office and CRM software
Desirable:
- Knowledge of or interest in CPD, professional development, or the training sector
- Experience in an accreditation, certification, or quality assurance environment
- Experience managing a client portfolio or caseload independently
