Peartree Community Services, part of Peartree House Rehabilitation, offers specialist care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and neurological disorders. We provide neuro-rehabilitation and long-term care both in our Southampton units and within clients’ homes.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers for a variety of care packages in the Southampton area, including waking night roles. These roles typically involve one-on-one support, with shifts typically running from 8:00 AM to 8:15 PM, on a rota basis, including some weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and health needs.
- Providing support for clients with specific medical requirements with all training and competency sign-off provided.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay rates of £14 per hour for 12-hour shifts.
- Comprehensive paid training and up to 8 weeks of shadow shifts to prepare for your role.
- Guaranteed hours (3 or 4 nights per week).
- Free DBS check.

We’re looking for caring, compassionate individuals with prior care experience who are eager to make a difference in this challenging and rewarding area. Additional training will be provided to meet clients’ specific needs.

A valid full UK driving licence is essential. Please be aware that there is a requirement to assist this client with community access visits.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly developed team. In return we will offer a very competitive salary, training and support from very experienced and knowledgeable MDT (occupational therapist, physiotherapist, psychology, speech and language therapist & senior support workers), support to undertake qualifications such as Care Certificate, Diploma in Health and Social Care, Brain Injury specific qualifications. You will be offered regular supervision and on call support.
