Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Dry Liners Fixers to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing drywall and related materials to create smooth, durable interior surfaces in commercial and residential buildings. Your expertise will help transform raw spaces into finished environments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and safety standards are met. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install drywall panels accurately according to project specifications and schematics
- Secure drywall sheets using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screw guns, and saws
- Finish joints with plastering techniques for seamless surfaces, including taping, mudding, and sanding
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and roofing teams to ensure coordinated progress
- Apply construction painting and finishing techniques to achieve a polished look on interior walls and ceilings
- Fabricate custom metal or wooden framing components as needed for drywall installation
- Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools like welding equipment or working at heights on scaffolding or ladders
Experience
- Proven experience in drywall installation or related construction fields with a strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings
- Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, masonry, and carpentry enhances versatility on-site
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) for efficient work completion
- Familiarity with fabrication processes and construction painting techniques is advantageous
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical instructions accurately to ensure precise installation
- Prior experience working with plastering or finishing drywall surfaces to a high standard is preferred
- Construction experience across various trades demonstrates adaptability and comprehensive understanding of building processes
