About the Role
As a Live-in Carer, you will stay in a client’s home and provide dedicated, round-the-clock support while promoting independence and wellbeing.
We offer both:
- Full-time live-in placements (typically 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off – with flexibility)
- Short-term live-in cover (up to 3 weeks at a time)
You will also receive 14 hours of break time per week during your placement.
Your Role as a Live-in Carer
You’ll be living in your client’s home, providing vital day-to-day support. Every person is different, but your role may include:
- Supporting with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Preparing nutritious meals and supporting healthy eating
- Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
- Administering or assisting with medication (as trained)
- Assisting with light housework, laundry, and keeping the environment safe
- Offering support for clients with dementia, physical disabilities, or long-term health needs
- Monitoring wellbeing and responding to any concerns or changes in condition

We are looking for individuals who are:
- Kind, compassionate, and patient
- Reliable and committed
- Strong communicators with a caring attitude
- Comfortable living in a client’s home during placements
- Able to work independently and use initiative
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Previous care experience is preferred (but not essential as training is provided)
- Willingness to complete our induction and ongoing training
- Enhanced DBS and reference checks (we will support you with this)
