We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Pharmacy Dispenser/Dispensary Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety standards
- Manage daily dispensary operations, including stock control, ordering, and storage of medicines
- Provide expert guidance to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and answer their questions with clarity and professionalism
- Support medication administration procedures in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, stock levels, and patient interactions to ensure traceability and regulatory compliance
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy support staff, fostering a team environment focused on quality care and continuous improvement
- Ensure the dispensary adheres to all health and safety regulations, including cleanliness, security, and proper handling of medicines
Qualifications
- Valid RX WEB qualification and NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent certification
- Proven pharmacy technician experience with a strong understanding of medication dispensing processes
- Experience in medication administration and patient care within a pharmacy setting
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing prescriptions and managing stock
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
