The role of Clinical Procurement Nurse is a unique role which offers the right candidate the chance to further develop themselves and the role for continued delivery of value back to colleagues and patient care.
Consideration will be given as a secondment opportunity for candidates demonstrating the right level of skills and experience required to maximise the value from this hybrid nursing opportunity.

The role requires senior individuals with demonstrable experience who are able to communicate with confidence across all levels of the NHS and external companies to support in delivery of the best product for patient care.

Communication
a) Communicate closely with all Medical Device Groups within the sector to ensure a consistency of approach.
b) Engage with clinical staff to secure commitment to the procurement work plan and strategy.
c) Communicate complex clinical information to procurement and clinical staff to help them to make an informed procurement decision.
d) Promote closer working relationships with procurement colleagues, encouraging cross team working, to enable full benefit realisation.
e) Facilitate and lead meetings with multidisciplinary teams to discuss procurement strategies and clinical requirements.
f) To process complex, sensitive information, and present different levels of information to different audiences according to the needs of the audience.
Knowledge, Training, and Experience
Qualifications
a) Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN number.
b) Masters level qualification or relevant clinical experience.
