Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises during weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Empty bins, clean surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures as required
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning duties to management
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times whilst representing the company
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning machinery is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company standards
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in busy environments
