Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Change bed linens and replenish toiletries as required
- Assist with laundry tasks and organise supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas, including guest rooms, communal spaces, and service areas
- Support with organisational tasks such as restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues
- Provide courteous assistance to guests or clients when needed, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to uphold a safe working environment
Skills
- Previous janitorial or hotel cleaning experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and standards
- Basic cooking skills are advantageous for preparing light refreshments or assisting in food service areas
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
