Role Purpose
The Gas Contract Supervisor is responsible for supervising contracts in their entirety, covering client, customer, and pre/post-installation phases. You will oversee all assigned workstreams while supporting other supervisors to ensure company expectations are consistently met. Acting as the main point of contact, you will ensure clear communication between clients, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project delivery and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Customer & Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients and customers, building strong relationships and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
- Site Surveys & Preparation: Instruct customers on the full scope of works, pipe runs, follow-on building works, and installation duration during surveys.
- Work In Progress (WIP) & Site Management: Carry out WIP inspections to ensure appropriate site setup and work practices in accordance with gas safety regulations.
- Quality Control & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections and technical audits of completed works to identify improvement areas and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimise risks, prevent workplace accidents, and ensure engineers follow best practices regarding PPE, gas detection, and emergency procedures. Monitor health and safety hazards in the workplace and ensure the business complies with all relevant safety legislation.
- Administration & Paperwork: Liaise with the administration team to ensure the smooth running of contracts and compile and monitor engineer van stocks. Obtain, inspect, and submit all relevant post-installation paperwork to the office for processing.
- Engineer Support & Representation: Deliver training sessions, toolbox talks, and briefings on gas safety regulations and new industry practices. Ensure all operatives wear clean, presentable company-issued uniforms, wear protective footwear, and maintain clean vehicles inside and out.
Person Specification
Experience & Qualifications
- Must hold all relevant gas qualifications, including cookers and fires.
- Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- Valid Asbestos Awareness training.
- Previous experience in project and contract management, overseeing heating system installations contracts.
- Desirable: OFTEC accreditation.
- Desirable: Unvented Hot Water Systems certification.
- Desirable: IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Pay: £43,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
