Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and gardening to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision to complete construction or landscaping tasks efficiently.
- Support the installation and repair of irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across landscaped areas.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Help with site preparation, cleanup, material handling, and debris removal to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members on various construction projects, providing physical support as needed for building or renovation activities.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with mechanical equipment or in potentially hazardous environments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and maintenance procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques or irrigation systems is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license or certification related to construction or landscaping work is beneficial.
