About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Purchasing Administrator to support purchase order processing, supplier communication, record maintenance, and general procurement administration.
You will help prepare purchasing documents, update internal systems, monitor orders, and communicate with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and delivery information.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and process purchase orders using approved information
- Enter supplier, product, pricing, and order details into company systems
- Check purchase requests for accuracy and required approvals
- Contact suppliers regarding quotations, availability, and delivery dates
- Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on delayed items
- Update purchasing records and delivery information
- Maintain accurate supplier contact and account details
- Compare quotations and prepare basic pricing summaries
- Assist with sourcing routine products and services
- Match purchasing documents with invoices and delivery records
- Report pricing, quantity, or delivery discrepancies
- Prepare spreadsheets and routine purchasing reports
- Organise digital documents and supplier correspondence
- Coordinate with finance, logistics, and operational teams
- Respond to routine internal purchasing enquiries
- Maintain confidentiality when handling supplier and commercial information
- Support general procurement and office administration as required
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, retail, warehouse support, order processing, or office work is helpful but not essential
- Purchasing or procurement experience is beneficial but not required

Pay: £25,420.00-£29,000.00 per year
