Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style and vision needs
- Conduct basic eye measurements and assist with fitting eyewear for comfort and proper alignment
- Provide information about different lens options, coatings, and frame styles to help customers make informed choices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical area, including display cases and equipment
- Support the optical team with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock management, and processing transactions
- Ensure all safety and hygiene protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
- Assist in educating customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance
Skills
- Optical experience necessary, dispensing or manufacturing.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Attention to detail for accurate measurements, record keeping, and product handling
- Willingness to learn about optical products, lens technology, and customer service best practices
