Job Summary
Location: Exeter City Centre
We are looking for a reliable, friendly and professional Concierge to join our team at a residential building in the heart of Exeter.
This is a full-time or part time position where you’ll often be working independently, taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the concierge service. Although you’ll work mainly on your own, you’ll be part of a supportive wider team, with help and guidance always available when needed. Day shifts and night shifts are available.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming residents and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Keeping an accurate log of residents and visitors entering and leaving the building.
- Monitoring the building and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Liaising with contractors, emergency services and other external agencies on a daily basis.
- Helping to maintain a safe, secure and well-presented environment for residents.
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) to observe activity across the premises
- Completing basic administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records (using a laptop).
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with people.
- Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
- Organised with good attention to detail and well presented.
- Calm under pressure and able to use their own initiative.
- Comfortable using email and completing basic paperwork.
No previous concierge experience is required, as full training will be provided. Whilst an SIA license is not required, it would be desireable however this role is focused on concierge duties rather than a traditional security role.
