With a turnover exceeding £1 billion, the company continues to grow and offers excellent long-term opportunities for skilled electrical engineers.
We are looking for an experienced Electrician / Facilities Engineer to join the engineering team and take responsibility for the electrical infrastructure across a large, busy manufacturing site.
This is a hands-on electrical role, ideal for an electrician who enjoys working across industrial electrical systems, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, testing and compliance work.
You will be responsible for ensuring the site's electrical systems remain safe, compliant and operational, while also supporting wider site-services equipment.
Carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the site.

Carry out electrical inspections, testing and compliance checks.

Maintain accurate records, permits and electrical documentation in line with current legislation.
-
Support compliance with relevant electrical safety regulations and site procedures.
-

-
Provide electrical support to wider site-services systems, including HVAC, refrigeration, compressors, boilers, steam and water-treatment equipment (full training given).
-
Assist with maintaining critical site infrastructure and ensuring minimum disruption to production.
-
Act as a key electrical contact for site audits, inspections and compliance requirements.
To be successful in this Electrician / Facilities Engineer position, you'll need:
-
A recognised Electrical qualification such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
-
Proven experience working as an Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Commercial Electrician, Facilities Engineer or Industrial Electrician.

Strong experience with electrical fault-finding and maintenance.
-
The ability to confidently read and understand electrical drawings and schematics.
-
Experience working with 3-phase systems, motors, control panels and electrical distribution.
-
A good understanding of electrical health & safety and compliance.
-
Experience within a commercial, industrial, manufacturing or facilities environment.
-
The ability to work independently and take ownership of electrical maintenance across a large site.
Experience with HV, HVAC, refrigeration, boilers, compressors or other site-services equipment would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
A background in food manufacturing/FMCG is beneficial but not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to move into a business-critical commercial/industrial electrical role with a major UK manufacturer.
