Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 2 (Category C) driver to join OFP Timber Frame Ltd. in GB. This role is vital in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of our timber frame products, supporting our commitment to excellent service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to transport timber frame materials.
- Ensure loads are secure and transported in compliance with legal and company standards
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Follow all driving hours, tachograph regulations, and road safety guidelines
- Represent OFP Timber Framed Homes Ltd. professionally at customer sites
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members during deliveries.
- Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in commercial driving and delivery roles.
- Knowledge of timber frame and/or truss transportation would be an advantage.
- Excellent driving record with a focus on safety.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
