Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Part Time School Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises, ensuring that all areas are safe, tidy, and welcoming for students and staff alike. This role offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and professionalism.
Monday - 3pm till 5.30pm
Tuesday - 3pm till 5.30pm
Wednesday - 3pm till 5.30pm
Thursday - 3pm till 5.45pm
Friday - 1.30pm till 4.15pm

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of classrooms, hallways, offices, and communal areas
- Disinfect surfaces such as desks, tables, door handles, and bathroom facilities to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of specialised areas such as kitchens and restrooms
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work during school hours with flexibility around busy periods
- Good communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork
