Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team, providing essential support in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment. Duties
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas to a high standard.
- Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures.
- Assist with laundry duties when required.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with company procedures.
- Treat residents, visitors and colleagues with dignity, respect and professionalism.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties within the role.
Experience
- Previous cleaning or domestic experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and well organised.
- Good attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A caring and respectful approach towards residents, relatives and colleagues.
