Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality in-home care to clients within their own residences. This role involves supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including elderly care, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and general assistance with daily activities. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life through personalised care and support. All positions are paid, and training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting with medication administration in accordance with care plans
- Preparing nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Providing companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Managing behaviour management strategies for clients with dementia or behavioural challenges
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities as required
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Supporting clients with household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry
- Responding promptly to emergencies or urgent needs, including first aid if necessary
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is advantageous
- Knowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care practices
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to handle behaviour management effectively and sensitively
- First aid certification or willingness to undertake training
- Driving licence preferred for client transportation duties
- Excellent organisational skills for managing multiple clients’ schedules and needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility tasks
- Good communication skills for liaising with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and care plans

Pay: £13.50-£17.65 per hour
