We are looking for an experienced and passionate Team Leader to join our welcoming residential children's home. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well-established team within a settled 2-bed home, supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment. About the Role
As Team Leader, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the staff team while ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently maintained. You will lead by example, promote positive relationships, and help create a stable, caring environment where children and young people can thrive.
What We're Looking For Essential requirements:
- Previous experience working within a residential children's home.
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent as recognised by Ofsted).
- Experience of leading, supervising, or mentoring staff.
- A sound understanding of safeguarding, child-centred practice, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to work on a shift rota, including evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and bank holidays where required. Sleeps paid at £60 per sleep 10 sleep shifts per month. Shift pattern is on a 2 on 4 off rota pattern.
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs.

Pay: £14.79-£17.00 per hour
