Lord Hardy Court is a residential care unit based in Rawmarsh. This is a 60 bedded unit delivering three services, dementia care, Learning disability care and Hospital Avoidance Beds.

The successful candidate will have/be:-

Experience/understanding of the social and emotional needs of individuals and how to best meet those needs
- The ability to demonstrate excellent and clear communication skills, demonstrate empathy and be able to listen and to understand and support individual circumstances and needs
- A practical person and ability to identify and solve day to day problems
- An understanding of Safeguarding
- An understanding of Health and Safety, the safe handling of medications and a good basic first aid knowledge
- A qualification as an Activities Professional which is recognised by an accredited organisation, ie NAPA OR the willingness to obtain a qualification.
Or evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience.
