Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence

A well-established, family-owned bakery based in South Wigston, Leicester, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence to join its team.
Trading since 1988, the company specialises in ambient, long shelf-life bakery snacks and takes pride in providing excellent service and developing employees to high standards.
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Operative, you:
- Carry out general warehouse and yard duties.
- Load and unload deliveries.
- Unload and distribute a variety of goods from the yard into the warehouse.
- Operate Counterbalance and Reach Forklifts.
- Pick and pack products.
- Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
- Wrap production lines when required.
- Assist in other areas of the warehouse when required.
- Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
- Carry out manual handling and general labouring duties.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Hold valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences.
- Have previous warehouse experience.
- Have experience loading and unloading deliveries.
- Are comfortable with manual and physically demanding work.
- Have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Are reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Have good attention to health, safety and housekeeping.
