Part-Time Teaching Assistant – Llanfair Talhaiarn
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Llanfair Talhaiarn on a part-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a positive learning environment, working closely with teaching staff to help children achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide additional learning support.
- Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and independence.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Prepare learning resources and assist with classroom organisation.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
- Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
- A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
