Altrad are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join our team based in Fawley.
The successful candidate will partner with site leadership and key stakeholders to provide effective HR support, align people initiatives with business priorities, and deliver practical solutions across employee relations, workforce planning, talent development, and employee engagement.
Key Deliverables:
- Partner with site leadership and key stakeholders to support HR initiatives and align people priorities with business needs.
- Support workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and employee engagement activities.
- Provide HR guidance on organisational change, TUPE, restructures, and employee relations matters.
- Support the HR aspects of site mobilisations, project ramp-ups, and other operational activities.
- Coach and support managers to develop effective, consistent, and values-based leadership practices.
- Work closely with Centres of Excellence, including L&D, Talent Acquisition, and Reward, to deliver effective HR solutions.
- Ensure HR processes are compliant with UK employment law and company policies, supporting audit and compliance requirements.
- Build strong working relationships with operational teams and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.
Key Requirements / Qualifications :
- Experience in an HRBP role, ideally within an industrial, engineering, construction, or infrastructure environment.
- Experience working within unionised or safety-critical environments is desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience handling employee relations matters and supporting organisational change.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and provide practical HR support in a fast-paced operational environment.
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, with a good working knowledge of UK employment law.
