Duties

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading lorries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts

Managing stock levels through accurate picking and packing of orders in line with customer requirements

Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accordingly

Assisting with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods

Stocking shelves and storage areas systematically to optimise space utilisation and accessibility

Performing quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity and safety

Conducting mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting minor issues with warehouse equipment when necessary

Ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to during daily operations, including heavy lifting techniques and hazard awareness
Skills

Ability to operate forklift trucks safe - Counterbalance or Reach required

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy and quality control

Physical fitness for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the shift
