Love the calm of the night shift and keeping everything running like clockwork while the world sleeps?
We’re looking for a reliable and organised Night Supervisor to join our friendly Front of House team at The Fish Hotel — one of Farncombe Estate’s award-winning hillside hideaways.
Set across 500 acres of beautiful Cotswold countryside, The Fish is all about laid-back luxury — from cosy shepherds huts and treehouses to stylish suites and woodland cabins. While our guests unwind and recharge, you’ll be the one ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, safely, and seamlessly.
This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of the hotel overnight — creating a calm, welcoming environment and making sure every guest experience is just as special at midnight as it is at midday.
Please note: this role works 5 nights per week (11:00pm–7:00am), including weekends.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing the smooth running of the hotel overnight
- Welcoming late arrivals and supporting early departures
- Handling guest queries with confidence and care
- Completing night audit, billing, and administrative tasks
- Ensuring the hotel is safe, secure, and well-presented at all times
- Supporting light cleaning and tidying to keep standards high
- Being a calm, capable presence for both guests and the team
What we’re looking for:
- A dependable, organised approach and great attention to detail
- A confident communicator who enjoys helping people
- Someone who thrives working independently at night
- Previous hotel or Front of House experience is helpful, but not essential
- A full driving licence is essential for this position
The details:
- £32,136 per year
- Plus share of gratuities (approximately £2,000–£2,500 per year)
