Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Supervisor to support the daily operations of a Turkish fine dining restaurant. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and lead the front-of-house team with professionalism and energy.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Guest Experience
- Deliver and oversee high-quality, attentive service in line with fine dining standards
- Ensure every guest receives a warm, authentic Turkish hospitality experience
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Encourage and drive positive guest reviews and repeat business
Team Leadership
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff
- Lead by example during service, maintaining professionalism and efficiency
- Conduct pre-shift briefings, ensuring team readiness and product knowledge
- Support staff development and performance improvement
Operations
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Coordinate table reservations, seating plans, and service flow
- Ensure smooth communication between front and back of house
- Monitor service timing and maintain consistency during busy periods
Quality & Standards
- Maintain fine dining service standards, presentation, and attention to detail
- Ensure staff have strong knowledge of Turkish cuisine, menu items, and beverages
- Uphold hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Ensure uniforms, grooming, and overall appearance meet brand expectations
Sales & Performance
- Support upselling and revenue growth through excellent product knowledge
- Monitor team performance, including guest feedback and review scores
- Help achieve targets related to service quality and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge or interest in Turkish cuisine and culture
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable)
- Wine and beverage knowledge
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
Pay: £12.80-£15.72 per hour
