We are looking for an enthusiastic Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to gain valuable experience across accounts, administration, office operations and IT support within a well-established solicitors' firm.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with our Practice Manager and wider support team, playing an important role in keeping the business running smoothly while developing skills that can lead to future career progression.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Accounts & Administration Assistant, you'll be involved in a wide range of responsibilities, including:
- Supporting the day-to-day accounts function, including processing invoices, data entry and financial administration.
- Assisting with compliance under the Solicitors Accounts Rules, with full training and support.
- Managing file archiving, storage and retrieval processes while ensuring compliance with firm procedures.
- Liaising with confidential waste and document storage providers.
- Maintaining accurate archive records and supporting office organisation.
- Providing administrative support to the Practice Manager and wider operational team.
- Handling incoming and outgoing post, scanning and document management.
- Providing reception cover when required, welcoming clients and answering telephone enquiries.
- Assisting with general office projects and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
