The successful Engineering Administrator (Maintenance Planner) will ideally come from a manufacturing background, engineering background or a Post-Graduate of Business Studies who has had exposure to manufacturing.
You must be a competent and well organised administrator, with a good understanding of Excel, who is able to work to company standards, processes and procedures as well as proactively provide support for site and national managers.
You will also be proficient with managing staff levels to ensure engineering functions are staffed appropriately for all shifts. You need to be creative, think outside of the box and commercially savvy.
As the Engineering Administrator (Maintenance Planning) your duties will have involvement in all aspects of the site, including, but not limited to;
- Working closely with management to ensure appropriate engineer staffing levels for shifts
- General stock taking
- Raw material administration
- General administration
- Analysis & cost saving,
- Liaison between all staff and managers.
As it is a varied role it is essential that you are experienced and competent in multi-tasking.
